Data Center HVAC Technician

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
Must have five or more years of field experience in Critical
Facilities and/or Data Center environment.
4-year apprenticeship program and minimum 5-8 years practical
experience or related technical training and 10-15 years of

Proficient in Microsoft Windows-based software.

Operate and maintain Diesel Generator systems, Uninterruptible
Power Systems (UPS), Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), electrical
switchgear, breakers, and protective relays.
Test and calibrate electronic HVAC and building environmental
controls to ensure proper equipment operation.
Monitor operations and conduct routine and on-going assessment of
the building systems and equipment.
Operate, maintain and repair all types of HVAC and mechanical
Manage emergency situations by strictly adhering to established
complex utility/electrical/mechanical switching scripts and
procedures (i.e. - MOPs, SOPs and Change Management processes).
Perform quality inspections on all spaces and systems including
roofs and equipment rooms and complete necessary repairs.
Continuously look for ways to add value to the customer,
identifying areas for improvements that lead to increased
reliability, improving the working environment for the customer and
extending the equipment life.
Perform all duties in a safe and comply with all Company policies
