Apply Today!Job Summary and QualificationsThe Certified Central Sterile Technician is responsible for proper decontamination, cleaning, assembly, sterilization and storage of instrumentation for surgery and outside departments.What you will do in this role:
  • You will prepare instruments and supplies through cleaning, packing, sterilizing and storing procedures.
  • You will understand principles of sterilization techniques and operates sterilization equipment.
  • You will assemble all instruments, trays, and drill drays for operating rooms according to policies and procedures.
  • You will perform equipment distribution and routing cleaning and maintenance.
  • You will perform crash cart restocking/exchange.
  • You will follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
    What qualifications you will need:
    • Certification must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150 bed hospital that has provided high-quality health care for over 40 years. The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and a Certified Primary Stroke Center.
