Job Description:

Provides distributive pharmacy services, assistance and support for the registered pharmacist. -Responsible for collecting accurate home medications lists for all inpatients.Reports to: -System Director PharmacyRefills and maintains automated dispensing systems. - -Fills medication carts on a daily basis. - -Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy department. - -Repackages bulk medications. - -Collects accurate home medications lists for all inpatients - -Deliver medication to the proper patient care areas in an accurate and timely manner and within established guidelines.Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent - Required - -Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. - -Required Skills
Licenses:
Must be registered with the Tennessee State Board of Pharmacy, upon hire or within 90 days of employment in position per state guidelines or be actively enrolled in a College of Pharmacy.

National Pharmacy Technician Certification - Preferred - -Minimum Work Experience
