Nissan Manufacturing Associate
Direct Hire - Starting at $23.95/hour (nights)
Hiring Manufacturing Associates for automotive production assembly positions at the Nissan Vehicle Assembly Plant in Smyrna, TN. Prefer a self-starter who is hardworking, highly motivated, and able to work under little supervision. An excellent communicator who is able to follow directions efficiently and provide feedback in a timely manner. We are a highly customer-focused organization. As a result, overtime is required to meet business needs.
The starting pay for direct hire is $23.95 (nights). We offer progressive wage increases with our hourly technicians receiving wage increases every six months until a top-out rate is reached. Job Responsibilities include:

• 
  
• Assembly of automobiles and automotive parts.
  
• Work as part of a team at a workstation along an assembly line completing a designated section of the product before moving it along to the next station.
  
• Work with air and/or battery power tools and hand tools.
  
• May work as a member of assembly, paint, or other groups and be assigned different work stations/rotations as production needs require.
  
• Possibility of operating finished production vehicles.
  
• Able to follow all apparel guidelines specific to each department.

  • Available to work any shift, including weekends.
    
  • Have a verifiable stable work history (manufacturing experience a plus)
    
  • Successfully complete chemical screen and thorough background check to include criminal history and work history
    
  • Able to lift up to 25 lbs
    
  • Able to stand for long periods of time
    
  • Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail
    
  • Safety conscious and able to work well with others
