Job Description:

The primary responsibility for the Machine Operator will be to change molds, perform color changes, equipment adjustments, start ups, shutdowns and maintain cleanliness of all injection molding machines. You'll work with the Process Technician to gain knowledge and experience in the department. Schedules available: - 2nd shift- 3pm-11pm - 3rd shift- 11pm-7am Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Mold changeovers, machine process startups, control and adjustments under guidance of Process Tech. - Performing part assembly, pack out etc operations as directed if needed. After completion of training, changeovers and startups will be expected to be performed without assistance from others. - May be responsible for training others in the same occupational title as needed. Works with Process Tech to perform preventative maintenance tasks on Injection machines and auxiliary equipment. - Maintaining quality standards. - Utilizing gauges and other measuring devices or instruments to keep the equipment running in accordance to acceptable quality standards. - Responsible for accurate counts of production and other records as required. - Responsible for observance of all safety rules and regulation and the housekeeping of the work area. Qualifications: Must have at least one (1) or more of the following:

• Degree/certificate consisting of mechanical curriculum from a recognized institution or currently enrolled for 6+ months
• 1+ years of heavy tooling setup/change over experience
• 3+ years job experience in a mechanical job or military position Will be responsible for accurate counts of production and other records as required. Responsible for observance of all safety rules and regulation and the housekeeping of the work area.
