  Job Summary:

  As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.-The Respiratory Therapist utilizes therapeutic communication in daily practice, maintains a safe therapeutic environment, and identifies problems as they relate to the individual needs of the patient. When acting in a charge therapist role, respiratory therapists are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a therapeutic environment

  • You will perform routine and critical respiratory, therapeutic and routine diagnostic procedures.
    
  • You will serve as resource person for hospital staff and physicians regarding current practices in respiratory care.
    
  • You will perform treatments/procedures for patients maintaining a high quality of care and completes all functions associated with procedure in a timely manner.
    
    
    TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center,-a 159 bed hospital about 15 minutes outside of Nashville, has provided high-quality health care to residents of Sumner and surrounding counties for over 40 years.-The facility is the first Accredited Chest Pain Center in Sumner County and is a Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Birth Center at TriStar Hendersonville, featuring Sumner County's only Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), hosts spacious LDRP suites and a lactation boutique for inpatient and outpatient services.     Qualifications Graduate of A.M.A. approved school of respiratory therapyRRT, within 1 year of hire.
