Job Description:

a Class A Commercial Driver and become a part of our dynamic
transportation and logistics team. With over two decades of

network of over 200 stores. In this role, you will be responsible
for the safe and efficient transportation of our inventory across
different locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the
high standards that CarMax is known for. Safely operate a Class A
tractor/trailer in compliance with all governmental and company
regulations. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure
safe working conditions of the truck and report any maintenance
issues. Transport vehicles between CarMax locations and from
manufacturers or auctions to CarMax stores. Maintain logs of
working hours, vehicle service, and repair status, following
applicable state and federal regulations. Adhere to assigned routes
and follow time schedules. Assist with loading and unloading
vehicles from the trailer when necessary. Provide excellent
customer service, ensuring all interactions align with CarMax
values and customer service standards. Proficiency in driving Class
A commercial vehicles. Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and
safety standards. Ability to work independently and handle physical
work. Excellent time management and navigation skills. Effective
communication and customer service skills. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
Mandatory completion of CarMax safety training and driving
test.
