Job Description:

Title: Paralegal Department: LegalReports to: General Counsel

Job Summary:Wesley LLC is looking for a full time Paralegal. This position will assist the General Counsel and team by investigating facts, preparing legal documents, and assisting in policy implementation and compliance.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist General Counsel with trial preparation, which may include attending trials and hearings
• Gather and analyze research data, such as statutes, decisions, and legal articles, codes, and documents
• Draft legal memoranda at General Counsel's direction
• Research and analyze statutes, regulations, legal articles, provide written analysis to attorneys
• Coordinate the collection, review, and production of documents for outside counsel and assist in responding to discovery requests
• Use legal software and databases to assist General Counsel and team members
• Keep and monitor legal volumes to ensure that the law library is up-to-date and maintain documents in paper or electronic filing systems
• Performs other related duties as assigned

  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Extreme attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, and to exercise discretion and good judgment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Working knowledge of legal database software
    Education and Experience:
    • A minimum of three years in a paralegal role.
