world. The Senior Manager of Strategy & Transformation is
responsible for leading, facilitating, and driving strategic and
organizational change initiatives at SCRI. The Senior Manager will
lead a team of internal consultants and/or business analysts to
implement enterprise?level change efforts that improve processes,
enhance adoption, and ensure long?term sustainability of
organizational transformations. This includes detailed analyses,
organizational design work, readiness planning, and change
execution. This role requires strong analytical, influencing,
communication, and change leadership skills while directing
multiple business areas. This leader enables SCRI to reach its
visionary aspirations in excellence. Duties include but are not
limited to: Directly manage team of Program Managers and Business
Analysts that are leading high impact strategic initiatives across
Sarah Cannon. Where appropriate, lead the Business Analysts to
develop and maintain operational dashboards for SCRI key
performance indicators for both Strategy and Operations. Partner
with AVP of Strategy and Transformation to facilitate senior
leadership in identification, scheduling, and prioritization of
strategic initiatives. Maintain an ongoing dialog to ensure timely
resolution of issues, appropriate actions around risk, and overall
status of initiatives. Maintain working knowledge of status of all
assigned initiatives to serve as communication point on portfolio
status. Introduce project management tools, templates, and
techniques through active consulting and coaching to direct reports
and delivery teams; coordinate cross department deliverables;
ensure resources are available and prepared to deliver their
components of the program plan; foster an environment of open
communications that provides accurate and complete status of
initiatives. Serve as the single point of contact for complex
enterprise deployments. Responsible for managing SCRI projects of
significant complexity and may manage projects with complex
interdependencies with active projects or existing systems; may be
required to manage and track interrelated projects as programs.
Oversee the project management activities of the direct reports to
ensure they are providing excellence in managing initiatives and
coaching/teaching department resources. Provide coaching and
direction as required. Establishes and leads high-visibility
enterprise-wide, cross-functional strategic initiatives. Lead a
variety of different types of projects including launching new
products and services, application development, systems
integration, operational efficiency improvements, process
reengineering, and infrastructure upgrades and deployments.
Oversees programs and program managers who are assigned to many
related projects to deliver value. Leads implementation of changes
and manage impacted people through the change journey. Communicates
and partners with internal and external organizations to ensure
successful implement of change. Implement effective control
mechanisms to ensure implemented changes are sustained post
project. Embodies the principles of change management and teaches
those principles to both direct reports and project teams. Proposes
recommendations, adjustments and process improvements to achieve

by the due date. Knowledge: A body of information needed to perform
tasks; May be obtained through education, training or experience.
Organizational change management methodologies, principles,
frameworks, and tools (Prosci or similar). Change management and
project management techniques and tools Knowledgeable and
experienced in the research environment and healthcare processes.
Strong working relationship with leadership which allows for quick
problem resolution and staff support. Experience leading enterprise
wide strategic initiatives with large change impacts. Skills: The
proficiency to perform a certain task. Advanced facilitation and
leadership skills, including written and oral communication and
fostering collaboration Interpersonal skills Advanced analytic
capabilities including six sigma methods and tools Computer skills
with ability using Microsoft Office specifically PowerPoint, Word,
Microsoft Projects and Excel Strong people management skills to
coach direct reports through the aforementioned skills Abilities:

and inspire teams (of both direct reports and project teams), to
set direction and approach, to resolve conflict and deliver tough

influencing and negotiating skills Comfortable raising questions,
issues, objections and ideas at all levels of the organization
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree required 5 years of
experience in program management 2 years of experience in people
management Experience leading enterprise?wide strategic initiatives
with significant organizational change impacts Prosci Change
Management Certification or equivalent required Six Sigma Green
Belt or Black Belt highly preferred This role is hybrid in
