Job Description:
Securitas Security Services USA, Inc., a leader in protective
services, seeks a dedicated Fire Alarm & Suppression Systems
Technician to join our team. This role is crucial in ensuring the
effectiveness and reliability of our fire safety systems. The
technician will be responsible for the installation, maintenance,
and repair of fire alarm and suppression systems across various
client sites. This position demands a high level of technical
expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety
standards to protect the communities and facilities we serve.
Install, maintain, and repair fire alarm and suppression systems.
Conduct regular testing and preventive maintenance to ensure
systems are compliant with safety regulations and are operational.
Collaborate with safety managers to implement fire safety plans and
systems installations. Troubleshoot system malfunctions and perform
immediate repairs. Log and report activities related to fire system
status and upkeep. Proficiency in the use of diagnostic tools and
equipment for fire systems. Strong understanding of electronic
wiring diagrams and system blueprints. Ability to handle physical
workload and climb ladders, work in confined spaces. Excellent
problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k NICET Level
II Certification in Fire Alarm Systems is preferred. State-specific
licensure for fire protection (where applicable).
