TransForce, a premier workforce solutions provider in the CDL staffing and compliance sector, is seeking dedicated and flexible CDL A Drivers to support our dynamic and growing needs for local transportation. As a local CDL A flex and on-call driver, you will play a critical role in maintaining the efficiency and reliability of our clients' transportation networks. This role requires a commitment to safety, punctuality, and customer service, ensuring timely and secure delivery of goods within local regions. Operate commercial vehicles in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Ensure timely delivery of freight over short distances. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance. Comply with all DOT and in-house regulations and rules. Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations staff to report delivery statuses and issues. Proficient in operating a commercial vehicle. Strong time management and customer service skills. Ability to maintain accurate logs and records. Good mechanical knowledge of trucks and loading equipment.
