CCU Requirements: Must have a valid TN RN License or Compact RN
License in good standing Minimum 1 year of ICU experience
Certifications Required: ACLS Must Have: 1 year critical care
experience, Meditech experience, ACLS, NIH certification Advanced
Skills Needed: Ability to manage arterial lines Management of
venous/arterial sheaths Cardiovascular & vasopressor drips
Ventilator management Procedures Performed on Unit: Bedside central
line placement Massive transfusion protocol Unit Specifics: Number
of Beds: 20 Patient Ratios: 2:1 for CCU patients Unit Staffing:
Unit secretary on days & nights, occasional tech support Equipment:
GE monitors, Alaris pumps, Puritan Bennett ventilators
Documentation System: Meditech Scheduling Requirements: 36 hours
per week 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks Floating Policy:Contract
