Express Healthcare Staffing of Nashville is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Springfield, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Med Surg - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse – Med Surg Unit Name: Med Surg Requirements: Must have a valid TN RN License or Compact RN License in good standing Minimum 2 year of Med/Surg experience Certifications Required: BLS (required), ACLS preferred but not required Must Have: Basic Med/Surg experience Experience with post-op patients, especially ortho Procedures Performed on Unit: Blood transfusions IV and central line maintenance Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 27 on each floor Patient Ratios: 5:1 Unit Staffing: Unit secretaries on day shift; techs on all shifts Equipment: Computers on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allyn vital sign machines Documentation System: Medhost (transitioning to Meditech on April 19th) Scheduling Requirements: 3 shifts per week Every other weekend Floating Policy: Will float between MS2 and MS3 Patient Experience Requirements: Provide compassionate, attentive patient-centered care Express Healthcare Staffing of Nashville Job ID HT62.
