Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN, is seeking a
dedicated and skilled PACU Nurse PRN to join our post-anesthesia
care unit. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for
providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia. The ideal
candidate will have a passion for patient care and a commitment to
upholding the hospital’s high standards of service. This position

team ethos. Monitor patients for changes in condition and report
any changes to the physician immediately. Manage therapeutic
interventions and safely administer medications following surgery.
Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care.
Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records of patient care.
Implement physicians' orders, performing tasks like inserting IVs
and administering medications. Assist in the discharge process by
providing personalized instructions and care plans to patients.
Strong patient assessment skills. Proficiency in IV insertions and
administering medications. Ability to work effectively in a
fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Proficient in using medical software and patient management
systems. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Tennessee. BLS certification. ACLS certification preferred.
