Job Description:
TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and
skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager to lead our dynamic team
in the birthing center. This role involves overseeing the
day-to-day operations of the labor and delivery unit, collaborating
with medical staff to ensure optimal patient care, and maintaining
compliance with healthcare laws and regulations. This position
requires a blend of clinical expertise and leadership skills to
manage nursing staff and enhance patient outcomes in our
state-of-the-art facility in Smyrna, TN. Manage nursing staff and
administrative operations of the labor and delivery unit Develop
and implement policies and procedures that comply with medical and
health regulations Ensure high-quality patient care and monitor
patient health outcomes Coordinate with healthcare professionals to
optimize labor and delivery processes Oversee patient and staff
scheduling to maintain efficient unit operations Conduct
performance evaluations and provide mentorship and training to
nursing staff Manage budget and resources of the labor and delivery
department Expertise in labor and delivery clinical practices
Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to handle
high-stress situations Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills Proficient in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
