TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center, a cornerstone of healthcare in Smyrna, TN, is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg team. You will be pivotal in ensuring that our diverse patient base receives effective medical surgical care, complimenting the comprehensive services that range from emergency care to advanced diagnostics at our full-service hospital. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans based on patient’s needs. Administer medications, monitor patient recovery and progress, and educate patients and their families on post-hospital care. Maintain up-to-date patient records and participate in continuous quality improvement activities. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, ensuring optimal patient care and communication is achieved. Strong clinical skills in a hospital setting Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in using healthcare software and systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Tennessee or Compact State Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
