Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare provider
in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical
Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role is critical in offering
top-notch medical care in various specialties including cardiology,
oncology, and emergency care. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will
work alongside a team of skilled health professionals to deliver
high-quality patient care, manage patient care plans, and ensure
the comfort and recovery of patients in the medical-surgical unit.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in
collaboration with the healthcare team. Monitor patient health and
record signs within the medical-surgical environment. Administer
medications, monitor dosages and note timing, maintaining the
utmost in patient safety. Educate patients and their families on
post-hospital care, disease management, and prevention. Supervise
and guide nursing assistants and help maintain a positive and
professional environment. Proficient in general nursing skills,
including IV placement, phlebotomy, and wound care. Ability to
operate standard medical equipment. Strong observational and
detail-oriented skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal
skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life
Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state
of Tennessee or eligible for reciprocity. Basic Life Support (BLS)
Certification. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification
preferred.
