TriStar Centennial Medical Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Special Procedures Technologist to join our dynamic team in Nashville, Tennessee. This role is pivotal in providing technologically advanced care in an empathetic environment. As part of our multidisciplinary team, the technologist will assist in performing diagnostic and interventional procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining the highest standards of practice. Our facility leads in patient care in numerous specializations such as oncology and cardiology, allowing our staff to work with state-of-the-art equipment and with leading medical professionals. Prepare patients and diagnostic equipment for specialized medical procedures. Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures. Operate and monitor imaging equipment to capture high quality diagnostic images. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff. Maintain accurate patient records and procedure logs. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay abreast of advancements in medical technology. Proficiency in using imaging and diagnostic equipment Strong understanding of radiologic safety and protection techniques Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment Excellent patient management and communication skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Radiologic Technologist (RT) Valid license as a Radiologic Technologist in the state of Tennessee CPR certification is required
