with Cynet Health to find a qualified MICU RN in Nashville,
Tennessee, 37207! Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse Profession: RN

Certifications: ACLS, BLS Must-Have: Active RN license ACLS BLS ICU
experience Description: The unit has a total of 31 beds. Patient
ratios are 2:1, with times of 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity and
staffing. A unit secretary is available during the day shift.
Occasionally, a nurse extern works as a tech. The type of equipment
used includes ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000.
Documentation is done in Meditech. The minimum weekend requirement
is four weekend shifts per schedule. Scheduling is done in
four-week increments, with some self-scheduling possible. The
manager may adjust shifts to balance the schedule. Contract labor
is expected to float to different areas if staffing needs arise.
Providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and family
members is essential. Advanced skills required include the
insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest
tube insertions, and EVD insertions. The required uniform is navy
scrubs, both tops and bottoms. Further unit-specific policies and
guidelines are available for review. This position may offer an
