In addition to pulmonary conditions, the unit provides exposure to a variety of other patient disease processes, offering a broad spectrum of medical-surgical care. Key Features - Specialization: Focused on treating patients with a range of pulmonary conditions, including COPD, asthma, pneumonia, and other respiratory illnesses. - Comprehensive Care: Provides high-quality care for a diverse array of medical conditions, enhancing the unit's expertise and patient care capabilities. Qualifications and requirements Applicants should have a current State of Tennessee or Multi-State Registered Nurse licensure and possess an Associate's or Bachelor's degree or RN Diploma in Nursing. Additional requirements include: - BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) - Required to be current upon hire - ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred. - PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. - Handle with Care preferred.
