In this critical role, you will support our state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization lab, aiding in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. This role requires a strong commitment to enhancing patient outcomes and a passion for cardiology. Assist in performing diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures such as angioplasties, implants, and electrophysiology studies. Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure comfort during procedures. Administer medications as directed by the attending cardiologist. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining methods and providing emotional support. Maintain and operate cardiac monitoring equipment. Document all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms. Participate in the assessment of the health status of patients. Strong clinical skills in cardiac care Proficiency in operating complex medical equipment Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work under stress and react effectively in emergency situations Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS certification ACLS certification (preferred) Certification in cardiovascular nursing (CVRN) is highly desirable
