TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare facility in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of our Cardiac Catheterization Lab, providing essential care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures related to heart conditions. This position requires a detail-oriented nurse with a strong background in cardiovascular care, capable of assisting with complex procedures and responding effectively in high-pressure situations. Assist physicians during catheterization procedures, monitoring patients’ vital signs and administering medication as needed. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining steps and post-care requirements. Maintain and operate cardiac monitors, EKG equipment, and other devices within the Cath Lab. Monitor patient recovery post-procedure and report abnormalities to the physician. Educate patients and families on heart health, procedural details, and recovery processes. Ensure all Cath Lab procedures adhere to hospital policies and compliance regulations.
