Job Description:

in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a driven and compassionate
Nurse Extern for our Med Surg ICU. This position provides an
excellent opportunity for nursing students to gain hands-on
experience in a fast-paced medical-surgical and intensive care unit
setting. The Nurse Extern works under the direct supervision of
experienced nursing staff, assisting with patient care and gaining
practical skills that align with their educational objectives. This
role is critical in supporting the delivery of high-quality,
patient-centered care within our innovative healthcare facility.
Assist nursing staff with basic patient care activities. Help
monitor patient health status and record patient vital signs.
Prepare and administer medications under supervision. Assist with
the implementation of patient care plans. Provide direct patient
care in accordance with treatment plans. Participate in patient
assessments and interventions. Support the medical team during
diagnostic procedures and clinical trials. Strong clinical skills
and knowledge of patient care. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a high-stress
environment. Proficient in using healthcare software and electronic
health records. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance
Life Insurance 401k Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
recommended. Enrollment in good standing in a nursing program.
