Job Description:
TriStar Centennial Medical Center, a leading healthcare facility
in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Renal
Acute Care Nurse to join our multidisciplinary team. This role
focuses on providing specialized nursing care for patients with
acute kidney issues within a dynamic hospital environment. The
successful candidate will have a robust understanding of renal care
procedures and a commitment to patient-centered service. Assess
patient health problems and needs specific to renal care and
develop nursing care plans. Monitor, record, and report symptoms
and changes in patients' conditions related to renal health. Direct
or supervise less-skilled nursing or healthcare personnel in the
renal department. Prepare patients for, and assist with,
examinations and treatments related to kidney care. Administer
dialysis treatments and other medications as prescribed by the
renal healthcare team. Educate patients and their families on
kidney health, treatment and care at home. Maintain accurate
patient records and prepare reports on treatments and outcomes.
Proficient in dialysis treatment administration Expertise in
patient assessment and telemetry Strong skills in clinical decision
making related to renal health Ability to educate patients and
support families in managing kidney diseases Medical Insurance

Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee
Certification in Nephrology Nursing (CNN) preferred
