Job Description:
The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is actively seeking a
fellowship-trained Cornea specialist to join our dynamic and
growing faculty. This is an outstanding opportunity to become part
of a collaborative academic practice, currently supported by two
expert corneal specialists with extensive experience in managing
complex corneal diseases and performing advanced corneal surgeries.
The Vanderbilt Eye Institute is home to a multi-specialty academic
ophthalmology practice with more than 60 clinical and research
full-time faculty members, state of the art facilities and
equipment, and multiple satellite locations to accommodate over
175,000 patient visits annually. Our culture is rooted in purpose,

VEI faculty members contribute to a vibrant, collaborative, and
nurturing academic environment, training some of the brightest
residents, medical students, and fellows. Qualifications :
Completion of a Cornea fellowship Board certified or board eligible
by the American Board of Ophthalmology Strong clinical expertise
and comfort in managing complex corneal conditions and surgeries ,
including ocular surface diseases and inflammatory disorders (e.g.,
scleritis, ocular cicatricial pemphigoid, peripheral ulcerative
keratitis, anterior uveitis) Position Details : Full-time role on
the Clinician-Educator or Clinical Practice Track Opportunities
available for clinical and translational research and mentorship
