with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Hermitage,

Must-Have: Neuro and Cardiac experience Description: The position
is for a registered nurse in a progressive care unit. The unit has
a total of 25 beds. Patient ratios are 4:1 during the day and 5:1
at night. Staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 6-7 RNs, 2 technicians,
and 1 unit secretary. Equipment used on the unit includes Alaris
Pumps, telemetry systems, and monitors. The documentation system in
use is Meditech. Full-time positions require 36 hours per week with
every third weekend scheduled. Part-time positions require 24 hours
per week with every third weekend scheduled. PRN staff must commit
to 3 shifts a month, including one weekend shift.
Travelers/contracted staff must work 36 hours per week and every
other weekend. Floating is based on a rotating system to meet the
hospital's needs. Nurses will be responsible for triaging acute
care patients and identifying life-threatening rhythms. Advanced
skills required include glucose monitoring, Foley catheter
insertion, dressing changes, EKGs, and peritoneal dialysis. The
dress code includes black scrubs for RNs, royal blue for
technicians, and grey for unit secretaries. Closed-toed shoes are
mandatory; crocs are not permitted. This unit is newly built,
featuring advanced equipment and technology specifically designed
