Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Nashville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,843 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/9/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Nashville, Tennessee, 37207! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00 - 07:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Active RN license Certifications: BLS certification Must-Have: Med/Surg experience, ability to prioritize care, multitask, start IVs, basic wound care, maintenance of surgical drains, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes. Description: Responsible for providing attentive and compassionate care to patients and their family members. Expected to participate in bedside shift report. Ability to make personal connections with patients and include them and their family members in their plan of care. Unit has a total of 34 beds with a patient ratio of 6:1. Support staff includes tech support on both day and night shifts, with a unit secretary available during the day. Type of equipment used includes IV pumps, telemetry, SCDs, continuous pulse oximetry machines, feeding pumps, PCA, EKG machines, and bladder scanners. The documentation system is Meditech. Scheduling requires three 12-hour shifts per week and two weekends (four shifts) in a four-week schedule. Contract labor is first to float, with a rotation system in place when multiple staff are scheduled. Candidates should possess the ability to manage and prioritize patient care effectively. Recognition for outstanding departmental teamwork may be awarded. Navy scrubs (tops and bottoms) are required as the dress code.
