ACLS BLS NIH Description: This position is in a 24-bed intensive
care unit. Patient ratios in the unit are 1:1, 1:2, and 1:3. The
unit staffing consists of secretaries and technicians available at
a ratio of 1:2 and 1:3. Advanced procedures performed on this unit
include external ventricular drain placement, central line
placement, and arterial line placement. The documentation system
used in the unit is Meditech. Self-scheduling is preferred for this
position. Staff may float in rotation within the unit. Required
uniform is black scrubs. Prospective candidates should be aware of
available new equipment and technology. The unit has a team with
significant tenure and experience. Schedule options may be
