Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Hermitage, TN Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,764 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified PCU RN in Hermitage, Tennessee, 37076! Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Registered Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: November 17, 2025 Location: Hermitage, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Three 12-hour shifts per week; every other weekend required; self-scheduling with 4-week rotation Highlights: 34-bed and 25-bed progressive care units with 1:4 to 1:5 ratios on days, 1:5 to 1:6 on nights Comprehensive patient care including cardiac drips, insulin and heparin protocols, BiPAPs, high-flow oxygen, and Vapotherm Experience with peritoneal dialysis, stroke care, post-cardiac cath patients, and advanced procedures including thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube management Meditech documentation system with excellent tech support (2-3 techs per shift when fully staffed) Strong team culture with high traveler extension rate; "Care Like Family" philosophy with exceptional teamwork May float between PCU units or to medical-surgical floors as needed Requirements: Active RN license BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong critical thinking skills and EKG rhythm interpretation Experience with cardiac drips, insulin drips, and heparin drips Peripheral IV skills required Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred Experience with BiPAPs, high-flow oxygen systems, and multiple oxygen delivery methods Familiarity with tube feedings, NG/Dobhoff tubes, and wound vac troubleshooting Why It's a Great Opportunity: This progressive care unit offers an ideal blend of autonomy and support, with self-scheduling that promotes work-life balance and a collaborative team environment that keeps travelers returning for extended assignments.
