Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - ICU/CCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work 36 hours per week in Critical Care Unit /n• 2:1 patient ratio for CCU patients /n• Required to work 3 weekend shifts per 4-week period /n• Work with GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators /n• Use Meditech documentation system /n• Required dress code: black scrubs /n• Contract labor floats before core staff /n• Must have 1 year critical care experience minimum /n• ACLS certification required /n• NIH certification required /n• Meditech experience required /n• Advanced skills needed: ability to manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular and vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients /n• Perform procedures including bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol /n• Unit support includes unit secretary on days and nights with occasional tech help /n/n Facility: /n This medical center operates a 20-bed Critical Care Unit that serves as the highest level of care facility in Sumner County. The facility is designated as a Clinical Transformation & Innovation alpha hub, focusing on using technology to reduce time spent in electronic health records so more time can be dedicated to patient care.
