Job Opportunity – Labor & Delivery Nurse – Tennessee Start Date: October 7, 2025 Location: Springfield, Tennessee Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3 night shifts per week; patient ratios 1:3 to 1:6 Highlights: Level 2 nursery environment with up to 10 beds Neonatal Nurse Practitioner in-house 24/7 for clinical support GE monitoring equipment and CPN documentation system No floating policy—dedicated unit assignment Comprehensive case mix including preterm babies, NAS, and special care needs Collaborative team environment with advanced procedural experience opportunities Requirements: Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience (Level 2 required) Postpartum experience strongly preferred Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications Proficiency in IV initiation, phototherapy, bubble CPAP maintenance, tube feeding, and managing low blood sugar Experience caring for preterm infants and neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS) Ability to assist with procedures including lumbar punctures, circumcisions, and IV medication administration Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers a dynamic clinical environment where you'll utilize advanced maternal and neonatal nursing skills while being supported by 24/7 in-house Neonatal Nurse Practitioners.
