Job Summary and Qualifications The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. In collaboration with medical providers and other members of the care team, the RN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care using established nursing models such as “Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage.” The RN serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers and models a commitment to the organization’s vision/mission/values to support an unparalleled patient experience and clinical outcomes that contribute to overall departmental performance. What you will do in this role: You will monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions while maintaining accurate and detailed records You will order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess the patient's condition. You will demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served. You will promote hospital customer service initiatives. You will utilize the nursing process for individual care to meet the needs of patients. You will demonstrate the ability to perform technical skills and procedures.
