Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Hendersonville, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,752 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of critical care experience License: Active RN license Certifications: ACLS, NIH certification required Must-Have: 1 year critical care experience Meditech experience ACLS certification Ability to manage arterial lines, venous/arterial sheaths, cardiovascular & vasopressor drips, and ventilated patients Description: This position is for a nurse in a critical care unit. The unit has a total of 20 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1 for critical care patients. There is a unit secretary available during both day and night shifts, with occasional tech help. Essential equipment includes GE monitors, Alaris pumps, and Puritan Bennett ventilators. Documentation is handled through Meditech. Scheduling requirement is for 36 hours per week with 3 weekend shifts in 4 weeks. Contract labor will float before core staff. Key procedures performed on the unit include bedside central line placement and massive transfusion protocol. The unit focuses on using technology to enhance patient care and reduce time spent in electronic health records. Recent upgrades to GE monitors have been implemented. This is the highest level of care unit in the area, and flexible scheduling options are available. Dress code requires black scrubs.
