Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Springfield, TN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,840 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 1/12/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Springfield, Tennessee, 37172! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med Surg Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00-07:00) Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred but not required Must-Have: Basic Med/Surg experience Experience with post-op patients, especially ortho Description: The unit has a total of 54 beds across two floors. The patient-to-nurse ratio is 5:1. Unit staffing includes unit secretaries during the day shift and techs on all shifts. The types of equipment used include Computers on Wheels, Pyxis, and Welch Allen vital sign machines. The current documentation system is Medhost, with a transition to Meditech planned for April. Scheduling requires three days of work each week, with every other weekend included. Floating between the two Med Surg units may be necessary. Required skills involve performing blood transfusions and IV and central line maintenance. A dedicated and experienced staff works in this unit. Recent advancements include new computers on wheels and vital sign machines. The unit is transitioning to updated documentation technology.
