Job Summary and Qualifications The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by a physician and for the day-to-day activities that ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. What You Will Do In This Role: - Demonstrate the knowledge and skills needed to provide appropriate care for patient populations in the department. - Demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development across the lifespan and possess the ability to assess data reflecting the patient's age-specific needs. - Assess patients' and families' ability to learn and incorporate teaching throughout the CT procedure. - Deliver compassionate, holistic care while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients. What Qualifications You Will Need: - Must be a graduate of an accredited 24-month Radiological Technology Program. - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. - ARRT registered. - CT Certification is strongly preferred or must be acquired within 6 months of employment. - A minimum of 1 year of CT experience is strongly preferred but not required. - Ability to work two fourteen hour shifts on weekends, Saturday and Sunday (7am to 1130pm) TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is a 150 bed hospital that has provided high-quality health care for over 40 years.
