Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hermitage, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work full-time 36 hours per week with every other weekend required /n• Provide care for observation unit patients with 4:1 patient ratio during days and 5:1 during nights /n• Float on a rotating system to meet hospital needs /n• Work in a fast-paced, energetic, and friendly environment /n• Triage acute care patients and identify life-threatening rhythms /n• Perform glucose monitoring, Foley insertion, dressing changes, EKGs, and peritoneal dialysis /n• Use equipment including Alaris pumps, tele-tracking, Imobile Communication, B450 monitors, and Pyxis /n• Document using Meditech system /n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, and EKG rhythm certification /n• Neuro and cardiac experience requested /n• Dress code requires black scrubs for RNs with closed-toed shoes (no crocs allowed) /n• Work on a newly built unit with brand new equipment and technology /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a state-of-the-art observation unit located on the first floor with 25 beds and modern equipment.
