Job Description ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Hermitage, Tennessee. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: /n/n Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. /n/n Opportunity: /n RN - PCU /n/n Job Details: /n • Work on a 25-bed observation unit on the 1st floor /n• Patient ratios: 4:1 during day shifts / 5:1 during night shifts /n• Full-time schedule: 36 hours per week with every 3rd weekend /n• Part-time schedule: 24 hours per week with every 3rd weekend /n• PRN schedule: 3 shifts per month with one weekend day required /n• Contract/Traveler schedule: 36 hours per week with every other weekend /n• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS /n• Preferred experience: Neuro and cardiac background /n• Equipment used: Alaris Pumps, tele-tracking, Imobile Communication, B450 Monitors, Pyxis /n• Documentation system: Meditech /n• Unit staffing includes: 1 CNC, 6-7 RNs, 2 techs, 1 unit secretary /n• Procedures performed: glucose monitoring, Foley insertion, dressing changes, EKGs, peritoneal dialysis /n• Responsibilities include triaging acute care patients and identifying life-threatening rhythms /n• Floating policy on a rotating system to meet hospital needs /n• Dress code: black scrubs for RNs, closed-toed shoes required (no crocs) /n• Fast-paced, energetic, and friendly work environment /n• Newly built unit with brand new equipment and technology /n/n Facility: /n This healthcare facility features a newly constructed observation unit equipped with state-of-the-art technology and equipment specifically designed for acute care monitoring.
