Pay Information $1,816 per week About The Position Job Title: RN Oncology Profession: RN Specialty: Oncology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active Registered Nurse license Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Experience in oncology nursing Description: This position is for an oncology floor nurse. The nurse will care for patients with various diagnoses including solid tumors, such as lung, breast, and colon cancers. Other patient populations include those with leukemia, lymphomas, myeloma, and gynecologic malignancies, primarily ovarian and cervical cancers. Responsibilities include cancer symptom management, addressing febrile neutropenia, and managing uncontrolled pain. The nurse will also assist patients with sickle cell anemia and hematologic diseases. Postoperative care will involve patients recovering from mastectomy and gynecological oncology surgeries.
