Job Description:
The Department of Dermatology at Vanderbilt University Medical
Center - a National Comprehensive Cancer Network designated
academic medical center - is seeking a board-certified or
board-eligible Dermatologist with clinical expertise in the
evaluation, diagnosis, and management of pigmented lesions and
melanoma. This is a full-time academic position with
responsibilities in patient care, teaching, and scholarly
activities. Candidates will join a multidisciplinary team
specializing in melanoma and skin cancer, collaborating closely
with experts in oncology, surgery, pathology, and basic science.Key
Responsibilities:Provide outstanding clinical care focused on the
diagnosis and treatment of pigmented lesions, atypical nevi, and
melanoma.Participate actively in multidisciplinary melanoma and
high-risk skin cancer clinics.Teach and mentor medical students and
residents.Contribute to departmental and institutional service and
leadership activities.Pursue academic
scholarshipQualifications:M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.Board-certified
or board-eligible in Dermatology.Fellowship training in Pigmented
Lesions, Dermato-oncology, or related fields preferred but not
required.Demonstrated clinical expertise in the management of
pigmented lesions, atypical nevi, and melanoma.Strong commitment to
patient care, teaching, and academic scholarship.Eligibility for
medical licensure in TennesseePreferred Qualifications:Experience
with dermoscopy, confocal microscopy, or other non-invasive imaging
techniques.Record of peer-reviewed research or scholarly
productivity in dermatology or melanoma.Compensation and Benefits:
