Job Description:

```Duties:```- Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding- Monitor vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities to the nursing staff- Assist with mobility and transfers of patients- Administer medications as directed by the nursing staff- Perform basic medical procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and tube feeding- Assist with patient assessments and document observations in medical records- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for patients```Requirements:```- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited nursing assistant program- Current certification as a nursing assistant (CNA) in the state of employment- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic patient care procedures- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Cerner or Epic- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining patient confidentialityPlease note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
