**Practice Manager**

**Summary:** Manage veterinary practice operations, lead teams, and drive business growth in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Since 1972, Goodlettsville Animal Hospital has been serving Goodlettsville and surrounding communities. We are a full-service, small animal hospital dedicated to providing veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Drive revenue growth and manage expenses, including labor and facility costs
* Develop and maintain salary schedules and job evaluations for all employees
* Provide input on annual budget and establish internal operating procedures
* Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and laws, including OSHA, DEA, EEOC, ADA, and Department of Labor
* Partner with the Managing Doctor to ensure team members adhere to practice operating procedures
* Oversee OSHA safety techniques and use proper PPE
* Manage human resource issues and collaborate with the Heartland Human Resources team
* Establish and execute performance evaluations
* Develop and maintain procedures necessary to meet regulatory requirements

**Requirements:**

* Previous management experience required
* Previous veterinary medicine experience preferred
* Ability to work on weekends when needed
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Computer skills, MS office applications, etc.
* Basic math and ability to calculate medication dosages
* Strong communication skills to ensure patient safety
