We do Consulting Differently The BRG Transaction Advisory
practice is seeking to add professionals due to client and market
opportunities and demand. The ideal candidate should be prepared to
work in a team-oriented environment on a diverse range of
transaction advisory assignments. Articulating findings and
recommendations around the key financial and business issues in a
transaction and key value drivers are critical components for this
position. The ideal candidate will have skills in the following
areas: Financial Statement Review and Reconciliations Quality of
Earnings Quality of Net Working Capital Business and Transactional
Performance Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day activities of
BRG's Corporate Finance –Transaction Advisory client service teams
executing on buy and sell side diligence engagements. Demonstrate
consistent, balanced project delegation, supervision and leadership
skills across all areas of an engagement. Assist in identifying
issues for purchase price adjustments and potential deal
structuring insights. Utilize business, finance, accounting, and
analytical skills to perform tasks including, but not limited to
quality of earnings, financial trend analysis, working capital
trending, and benchmark, financial statement review, business plan
assessments and cash flow statements. Demonstrate the ability to
work in a team environment; collaborate with TA and BRG experts,
professionals from other firms and client contacts to achieve
engagement objectives Lead the preparation of reports, written
analyses, presentations, and other client deliverables. Participate
in the development of a fast-growing, entrepreneurial consulting
practice including assisting in marketing, client pitches, and
product and practice development. Demonstrate the highest degree of
professionalism, ethics, quality, and integrity. Be ready to expand
your network with clients to become a trusted and reputable
advisor. Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree equivalent in
Business, Accounting/Finance, Management, Engineering, Economics,
Mathematics, or related field (MBA or CPA is a plus); Minimum 3
years of work experience, ideally in a consulting or professional
services environment; Expertise in financial modeling and analysis
(particularly in Excel), including constructing and understanding
3-statement financial models, cash flows and scenario analyses;
Ability to manage and analyze large volumes of financial and
operational data; Ability to interpret the results of qualitative
and quantitative analysis and develop insights and recommendations;
Excellent written and oral communication skills and a demonstrated
ability to interact with junior and senior team members, senior
management and other stakeholders or professionals; Mature
presence, empathy, intellectual curiosity, and ability to learn
quickly; Strong problem solving and project management skills;
Ability to work well independently or in a team dynamic; Ability to
manage multiple tasks, prioritize changing work demands and learn
quickly; CFA, CPA (or equivalent), or technical/GAAP accounting
expertise is a plus; Advanced in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint;
Familiarity with financial research tools (e.g., Capital IQ,
Bloomberg, etc.); and Willingness to travel up to 25% when/if
needed Preferred Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel,
PowerPoint; Experience with Big Data analysis, Data Visualization,
and/or Business intelligence tools; Ability to manage multiple
tasks and prioritize changing work demands; Ability to understand
legal documents and complex agreements Familiarity with financial
research tools (e.g. Capital IQ, Bloomberg, etc.); Work experience
in an established and widely accepted Transaction Advisory
practice; and/or Experience and depth of knowledge of industry
players, key industry drivers, and current trends Candidate must be
able to submit verification of his/her legal right to work in the
U.S., without company sponsorship. Salary Range: $80,000 to
