The firm is growing (25% over the last 2 years) which is why we're looking to add a few experienced Staff accountants to our growing team! Our client base includes everything from local and touring acts, producers, industry executives and much more. Position Summary: The Staff Accountant will play a key role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the client's financial records. This individual will support monthly close processes, reconcile accounts, prepare journal entries, and assist with royalty accounting and reporting specific to the music industry. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries for month-end and year-end close Reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple clients Assist with preparing financial statements and internal reports Support accounts payable and receivable functions for multiple entities Maintain and organize financial records and documentation Identify and suggest process improvements for efficiency and accuracy Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and music industry trends affecting financial reporting Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1 years of accounting experience (entertainment or music industry experience not required) Solid understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Proficient in Microsoft Excel Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Why Join Us: Average Employee Tenure of 6 years Very hands on Leadership - open door policy Tons of growth - firm has grown 25% in the last 2 years Base Salary upwards of $75K Bonus 100% Paid for benefits (Profit sharing after year 1) To Apply: Please submit your resume or you can email me directly at sean.westhorpe@levelociti.com ?To view additional roles we are recruiting for, please visit: https://levelociti.com/job -search/
